About Me.

As an architectural designer, I firmly believe that every client deserves an approach that combines professionalism with a personal touch. Architecture is more than just creating spaces; it’s about understanding the unique needs, aspirations, and lifestyle of each individual or family. From the very beginning of our collaboration, I aim to foster a relationship built on trust, mutual respect, and open communication.

I have been working in the Architectural industry since 1985. I joined the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists in 1992 and became a full member in 1998. During my time in the industry, I have gained invaluable experience while working with various Architects in Northern Ireland, which led me to establish Sharon Johnston Designs for Living in 2007, based in Co Armagh. I specialise in obtaining statutory approvals such as Planning Permission and Building Control Approval within the residential sector, offering my personal service to each client whether they require a bespoke house or simply a remodel of their existing home.

I believe that every client deserves to be treated in a professional yet personal manner. The client /designer relationship must be built on trust and discretion from the outset.
